History

The Channel Islands Information Security was founded in Jersey in 2013. A small number of cyber security and data protection professionals soon became a group of 300+.

Today, the work of the CIISF includes:

  • A headline annual Channel Islands Cyber security Conference in Jersey

  • Additional educational and social events in Jersey and Guernsey

  • Supporting professional development

  • Running training classes

  • Providing volunteering opportunities

  • Support for the Charitable Skills Pool

  • Support for the Islands Data Governance Forum

Constitution

The Channel Islands Information Security Forum is a not for profit unincorporated association registered with the Jersey Financial Services Authority. Membership is free and open to all, and the forum is primarily funded through corporate sponsorship of events.
